The
D'Addario VENN Alto Saxophone reed is an advanced synthetic reed. D'Addario constructed the VENN reeds of various polymer fibers, resin and natural cane elements. They give players the benefits of synthetic reeds without compromising on the sound and playability of cane reeds.
Using elements of natural cane, VENN synthetic reeds are constructed in layers that mimics the structure of cane. Resin helps the reed last longer, as it builds resistance to the elements. Polymer fibers build in flexibility, improving the articulation and response. The natural cane elements shine in the sound, producing warmer, natural tone. The innovation provides the elements cane reed players love, while prioritizing durability and longevity of use.
