    Description

    Up for sale: 1, one very large sheet of copper. New, but in storage for a long time. Originally purchased for use as printmaking intaglio plates. size = 36.25"x24" 18 gauge

    This sheet is bare with no protective coating and may contain minor surface scuffs, fingerprints or scratches from handling and moving. I've done my best to keep this to a minimum, but some can be expected.
    If being used for printmaking, I recommend using a "whiting" solution to degrease/clean copper intaglio plates prior to applying etching grounds or powdered rosin for aquatint, this procedure may need to be repeated until all grease content has been removed from the intaglio plate.
