These well aged reeds (some may say vintage) are for alto clarinet but fit perfectly on alto saxophone. They were stored for 25+ years from a local music store which closed in the mid 1990's. They are still in the original boxes and sealed with  a cellophane wrapper. The medium soft strength is ideal for someone just starting or returning to playing after laying off for years.
Many will argue that current cane production does no measure up to cane from the 90's as the cane is harvested in a 'green' condition and contains too much moisture. Since these have been stored and dried out with time, they make an excellent choice
