    The Goulds 3887 Submersible Sewage Pump features a cast iron, semi-open, non-clog, dynamically balanced impeller with pump out vanes for mechanical seal protection . The 3887 also comes with a cast iron flanged volute type casing for maximum efficiency, and it designed for easy installation on AS10-20 slide rail or base elbow rail systems. This pump is capable of running dry without damage to its components and is designed for continuous operation when fully submerged. This pump is specifically designed for homes, sewage systems, dewatering/effluent, water transfer, light industrial, and commercial applications.
