More vegetation means more charge accumulated on the fence, thus decreasing the flow rate.
The indications on the length of the fence refer to meterial (wires and connectors) with excellent conduction, good insulators, an optimal grounding system and little ground vegetation.
For the electrifier to function properly, it is necessary to purchase the grounding stake separately.
Grounding ensures that the current can return to the electrifier when an animal and/or grass comes into contact with the fence. Not having a grounding system means there is no power at the end of the fence, so it is an essential element to create an adequate electrical circuit.
Without a proper grounding system, the electrifier does not work properly. Always use galvanized grounding pegs, choosing from the following models depending on the type of power supply that will be used to power the electrifier:
