The indications on the length of the fence refer to meterial (wires and connectors) with excellent conduction, good insulators, an optimal grounding system and little vegetation on the ground.
For the proper functioning of the electrifier it is necessary to purchase separately the grounding stake.
The grounding ensures that the current can return to the electrifier when an animal and/or grass comes into contact with the fence. Not having a grounding system means there is no power at the end of the fence, so it is an essential element to create a proper electrical circuit.
Without a proper grounding system, the electrifier does not work properly. Always use galvanized grounding pegs, choosing from the following models depending on the type of power supply that will be used to power the electrifier:
